Although I came across some batch PowerShell scripts for this optimization, they were extreme and could cause Steam to crash. The bat file is giving me an error message that it can't find steam.exe. Have the correct commands changed in the past six months? Edit: Was attempting based solely on the written instructions and had not reached the part of the video about putting it in the Steam folder. .bat file is now working. Written instructions should include where to put the .bat.

u can save it and text document and later rename it and replace .txt in the end with .bat that will also work

not necessarily coz epic launcher can literally be closed after launching game so steam is basically running unnecessary browser aka steamwebhelper in background which is not essential to run game

Steam sucks and once they get your money youre screwed. FS22 through Steam wont run on my laptop properly but i got FS22 from giants and it runs perfectly. even with a 16x map it runs, couldnt get a standard map to work on steam version.
