Hi. My partner and I are not married ( just past 50 years together) so listening to various bits of information we would not get the extra allowance as we are also not a same sex couple. But we would like to pass on the house to our 2 children - so do I have to bite the bullet and get married or is there another way to get the same £650k allowance (e.g. declare I am now a women?). The house is in both our names and we have lived in it for almost 44 years.
