Little tip about snapseed borders: if you use the “expand” tool it will put a black or white border outside the image so it doesn’t crop into the actual image.

Very interesting, Especially the hint about sharpening. I usually hate oversharpened jpegs (like samsung smartphones tend to produce). But on the other hand everytime anything I upload looks softened cause IG reduces resolution so much that I honestly question why cameras these days use sensors with such high megapixel counts...

Do you resize your film scans? (1350 long edge for portraits, 1080 for landscape?)

This tip is mostly for stories but adding music through Instagram will always downgrade the quality for some reason. If you want to add music to a story, always do it externally.

Great tips. Thanks. Is there a way to get InShot to open images that are NOT stored within the Apple Photos app? I shoot with a digital camera, edit images with Capture One and stor my images in a traditional file archive. I want to avoid the unnecessary step of first copying file to Apple photos before opening them in InShot.

guys, i have a question, i need help i have a 16mp camera that can shoot only 2:3, so when posting on ig should i crop it to 4:5 or post the 2:3 with a 4:5 border, which one you guys think is better

Thanks for the handy information! Perhaps a silly question but I am trying to post my 35 mm shots in a consistent 'hanging gallery' style on instagram. I am using the ratio 4:5 for all of my portrait and landscape shots and zooming out by 7 for consistent spacing between all but they are still uploading as different sizes. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?!
