Optimus’s entire life can be described in one word “Selfless” Never once has he fought for himself or his own selfish wants or deeds And on top of that every action he takes and every choice he makes is to the service of his morals and the greater good if ever there was a character that would fit the word Samurai which the meaning of is “to serve” it would be Prime He is the Obi’Wan of the transformers series and he is one of my childhood heroes….

I remember how I cried a river when Optimus sacrifices his life to save Sam and died in the process 😭😭😭. It was such an emotional and heartbreaking moment with Sam screaming for him to get up. Okay seriously the thought of never seeing Optimus prime again literally broke my heart but I was so overjoyed when he was revived. Optimus Prime coming back to life was one of the best scenes ever 😍🔥. His dedication to protecting kind, great leadership and his tremendous faith are so motivating. The actor did a great job voicing him.

There's no hero in any universe that makes you feel like the way Optimus does about being a hero. Michael Bay Transformers wasn't just action, it's centered around emotions, a soul within a machine... It's beautiful how he did it. The emotions displayed by Autobots, most of all Optimus prime is by far the most beautiful thing in live action movies. That's what made Michael Bay Transformers exquisite, it's the emotions he beholds behind machines which shouldn't show much of a soul, or human like compassion for sentient beings. A soul within a machine. Optimus had more soul that the majority of human beings or any other living organism in the universe. The emotions Optimus is able to express and we're able to experience through his spark, or even just the tone in his voice, It really kept us all watching Michael Bay Transformers. It's Beautiful. It's Art.

Until recently, I did not realize Optimus suffered so much trauma during these movies. He lost his brother figure to betrayal, medic, first lieutenant, and mentor, the latter of which betrayed the Autobots and killed the weapon specialist. Not to mention being manipulated by an evil sorceress named Quintessa to do her bidding. Optimus nearly killed Bumblebee while under Quintessa's spell. War has taken its toll on Optimus. It's no wonder he went on a murderous rampage. He was emotionally broken, and he didn't know how to cope with it properly.
