See the notion of the clipping being due to the design of the shoulders not having physical space for the shoulders to actually move WOULD be hilarious if this wasn't a problem with every single design that has bigass hinderance shoulders like these. Block shoulders flat out do not allow for natural looking shoulder movement, so you either animate it so the blocks don't rotate enough to clip which often looks stuff and boring an unatural, or you just animated the shoulders naturally anyways and you get clip city. And every single god damn time you get clip fucking city. Prime, RiD 2015, Prime Wars, Cyberverse, Netflix WFC, even fucking Earthspark. Every single time they do these cardboard box ass shoulders they clip into his fucking torso because they are incapable of moving naturally. This shit is the exact reason why the Bay design made the shoulder joint clear to allow the natural movement. If you still don't believe me wear a normal shirt and cross your arms. Then put boxes on your shoulders in the style of G1 Prime and try crossing your arms again. Leave the block shoulders in the past, literally everyone acknowledges that making robots out of fucking cubes is bad design.

That shoulder clipping on Prime seems to be something they can't get rid of. They would have to do major adjustments to the rig so I'm not sure if they'll have it fixed for the release. Or maybe the rig isn't actually finished and they're yet to polish it. I'm pretty sure they can fix it, but I have my doubts that they will. Hopefullly they'll drop my jaw to the floor with the release.

If Optimus Primal’s lower half doesn’t do that 180 degrees rotation like in the cartoon ima walk out the theater. And they should have it so their transformed versions get overloaded on the planets energon forcing them to revert to their beast modes. Still I’ve been waiting on this since the first movie. Hope we get to see Blackarachnia, Waspinater, Dinobot, and Tarantulus.. hands down they had the best designs until Airazor amd Tigatron’s sparks merged and they became Tigerhawk.

Optimus Prime's transformation here isn't the final version seen in the movie, this commercial doesn't have the same budget as the movies lol

Its the same model they used in the movie, with the same ammount of moving parts, and the same ammount of visable places for the parts to go in robot mode. This transformation is excatly invocative of how Prime will look while transforming in the film.

@@NexusProductions-rz1sv no it is not, in the trailer you can see a brief moment where transforms and it was similar to the G1, in here we never saw those “same moving parts” this is just a model from the movie with the same rig hastily transformed to be used quickly.

I can provide evidence as well, slow the trailer down and you would be able to see Optimus has a face transformation when transforming but here we don’t have it

@@Ryan_Tse That's because that was a focus point in the trailer. In here the head isn't in close up, and hides away pretty quickly, so animating it transforming would be a waste of time. Every animator knows that if nobody can see it, you don't bother animating it. You can also see in the trailer that when Primal transforms he rolls and out of nowhere has his fully formed robot legs. Because, again, you couldn't see them so they didn't animate them. And seriously that's not proof of anything, it just means that they didn't animate the head for this one transformation.
