Did you just get Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime? Have you noticed the tail lights don't quite look right? Well have no fear! It is a simple pin punch fix!
Now you may have never pin punched before, but it is truly a pretty simple task, if you just be careful and use the correct tools

They finally stopped shipping them with the heel part upside down. I bought one in December and it arrived with upside down heels and a broken off smoke stack. I returned it and got another one sent in January and it has proper heels AND no broken stack, lol.

Im following all the same steps and those pins do not want to budge. I'm trying not to break the figure but the pins are staying put. Not sure what to do. You're making it look so easy

I had the same issue; you need to use a bit of force. Not a lot but enough. I had the same issue but the pins gave out eventually.

Maybe use a blow dryer on the feet first to heat up the plastic… it should expand, making it just a tiny bit easier? Just an idea… not sure it will work.

Was having the same issue - those pins were NOT budging in the slightest, and it looked like I was flattening the metal with the punch. I tried the blow dryer suggestion. It took a couple applications of heat and tapping in between heatings, but eventually the pins did finally slide out and the fix was applied soon thereafter. Thanks!

It's good technique that you can apply for other less common fixes. Like I had a Netflix Bumbeblee with a backwards leg that needed a pin punch.
