(Didn't realize there was a video of this masterpiece until 21 minutes later. I saw this as a youtube short. And then I saw two comments disapproving of it. Giving me the feels that they think Optimus prime is *similar to superman and that he shouldn't lose* SO I wrote this! Lost the progress too this TWICE!. Optimus wasn't just fighting I WAS against the KZbin UI from not scrolling up midway! So this is my third version essentially. Original is posted as my own comment. But 2 distinct version to two replies I left to the *Super optimus prime* peeps. Don't get me wrong op will always be the number one. But if hes treated as a superman.. well it's just jover to even liking op). *maybe I can make it as a video one day. Just need research or recommendations on the best mic or video recording, edit, voice, program). any suggestions lol? Bravo! Bravo! Amazing animation. (This gives me the vibe of skybound comic book story on g1). It is anyone's fair game. Optimus prime is not a SUPERMAN He is a soldier and a leader, he can feel pain and he can LOSE. (Or have close calls). If there's good writing there is also need to have a good sense in lore like, ability, power, and fighting choreography. And if that is taken in consideration too all characters it keeps the realism and relatability to an ALL TIME HIGH! So that is why any characters that got names are usually the ones that have a fair shot against a protagonist like "OP". Yet even unnamed ones too it just depends. So long haul being a beast is reasonable and makes primes struggle or battles eyegrabing. A good hero/protag needs a good opponent/ Villain/problem or obstacle. (this can be any character or story done right). And here 666 SFM did it all amazingly and in a short no less . Perfect.

Slight nitpick. It always feels weird that characters in the middle of a fight scene will just stop and stand idle to allow one character to speak, in awkward ways. Like how Long Haul gets Uppercutted, kneels over, and doesn't recover until Optimus is finished with his quip. I love these videos, just something that always bugs me.

This is a completely fair point. And not one I disagree with either. Bits like that do throw off the flow of a fight, but I know people do enjoy the character taking moments to have the lines. Definitely something I'm trying to balance and smooth out. Thanks for watching!

Question, whats the purpose of using flamethrowers against cybertronians if their made of metal, only thing i could see is if a cybertronian is bleeding and the flames cause the energon to ignite and combust.

Suppose it depends how you look at it. How durable is Cybertronian metal? How hot do Cybertronian flamethrowers get? Does the energon component of the fire make it more effective? Whatever you make of it, I gave long haul a flamethrower here as he had one in the ROTF video games

Not everything I do is connected. Some videos have story and most are just for fun. I just animate what I think people will enjoy above all else!

I did go to university to study animation for a couple of years. That gave me a lot of things to consider when animating. But information only goes so far. Most of my improvement does come purely from practice and pushing myself
