Dear Sir, At the option expiry of a share, the physical share has to be traded. In case of NIFTY/BANKNIFTY what gets traded? As far as i understand there is no direct selling or buying of NIFTY/BANKNIFTY in cache market, we invest only through Bees. Can you please clarify? Thank you.

Say Nifty is at 13700, So Options like 13000 PE OR 13900CE will be out of the money . n Options like 13750 PE ( or CE ) , 13650CE will be ‘in the money’ options. In short , Options whose strike price is near to actual price of Index or stock, are IN the money And options which has strike price far away from actual price of Stock or index are Out of the Money. ( Correct me if i am wrong )

You said nifty close below strike price for call option and loose all money (premium). Question is "close" means closing on exipry date and what time? Or is it as soon as nifty cross strike price downside and call buyer will lost his money? You are explaining very well so I thought you should explain this at same time so it should be more clear. Sir Good morning. Breakeven point is understood.But profit is calculated above the premeum amount in call options and put options. Breakeven and calculation of profit is bit confusing.Please explain.
