It was the 11th final I've watched the live broadcast of,and without doubt the best and most thrilling. If I had to rank them from best to worst,I'd go: 2022 the best no question,then 1986 when Argentina also triumphed having had a two-goal lead pegged back level. Then 2018 and 1982. Then probably 2006 followed by 1994 as those had a lack of goals but dramatic outcomes,with 2002 and 2014 somewhere in between? Only one team effectively turned up in 1998. 2010 was drab apart from the winning goal,and as for 1990 - dear oh dear oh dear!

Felt like I lost 15 years of my life the entire tournament. As soon as Montiel kicked it in, I collapsed and sobbed for probably 5 straight minutes. I had no idea what to expect when La Albiceleste finally won one, and especially after 2014 I was so prepared for heartbreak again... But they finally got it done. So beyond emotionally exhausting and it still feels like a dream today

Everyone was happy for Argentina to win as a country as well as a team, which in my opinion deserved it, given how they played in the first 70 minutes of the game.
