You have drop & perform RMAN dupdb with updated archive log backup so Is it refresh because you have created DB again? I am fine with export import method it is good but i am confuse on you RMAN refresh method

Great observation... There are many ways to do a refresh...the end goal is to get a new env with fresh data. RMAN Dup as well as data pump are the most commonly used methods. In this video, I tried to show both methods
