Is it must that I need to add the Environment variables at System level? Can I addthem just at the User level (User Environment variables)?

Hi, as per the official documentation at docs.oracle.com/cd/E83411_01/OREAD/installing-oracle-database-instant-client.htm , you need to set the system environment variables only. Hope this helps, cheers 👍

Hi, first please check if you have set the environment variables correctly. Next use tools like sqldeveloper to check the database connectivity. Once you get these two steps right, it is really straightforward to connect. Also in your python script, use the connection string correctly. Hope this helps Cheers 👍
