Sir, what will happen if we don't enable plugin against managed servers?

This is required to enable ohs (oracle http server) and weblogic integration. If you do not enable the request from ohs will not reach weblogic and you will get an error whenever you try to access the application via ohs

Hi sir, don't we need to change anything in httpd.conf and ssl.conf? The way you told in this video, This is how we redirect the request... If we are having Weblogic and OHS on different IP, does the same action need to be taken or we need to do some changes in httpd.conf ? Hope you understand my question..

for simple redirection from ohs to weblogic explained steps are sufficient. ohs by default configure with demo ssl certificates so no need to change ssl.conf. if you plan to use custom third party ssl certificates then you have update certificate path in ssl.conf or if you want to change default ssl port and few other ssl related parameters. ohs listen address and port is defined in the http.conf when you install ohs. Even if they are running on different host only make sure listen address pointing to correct host dns or port or if you want to change ohs port or few other custom configuration you need to update.

In this scenario Weblogic and OHS are on same host or on different hosts??
@digitak.middleware Жыл бұрын
Doesn't matter. You have to define the Weblogic host and port in the ohs file. The only thing you have to make sure is the ports are opened between Weblogic and ohs host

Sir, Could you please explain how to hide the port, like instead of "hostname:7777/console" I want to use only "hostname/console" Like and subscribed Thank you for sharing the knowledge

By default browser use port 80 for non secure connection and for for secure connection 443. So if you don't specify any port then by default it look for port 80 fro http and 443 for https. If you are using 7777 or any other port, then to hide you have to use a load balancer in from which can redirect request to backend on port 7777 or you have to define virtual host on ohs.
