Thank you. Please explain how you got the excel sheet (XLS) with the XDO_METADATA tab. When you do the multi-sheet you add details but when you created the single-sheet file you did not update that tab. What is that tab for and where do you get the contents?

Nice Video. I tried the same on Apps R12.1.1. But have issue in Template Registration. I am not Getting Default Output Type as "EXCEL" . Default Output Type listbox is blank. I execute Report without "Default Output Type" but it completes with warning and is it showing xmldata as output instead of excel data. Can you guide how do I resolve this issue in R12.1.1 ?

I have a report, where I have to show different group of data in sheet1 and split different groups of data into different sheets from sheet2. I mean to show summary data in sheet1, to split detailed data from sheet2. Is it possible to do that??

Requirement is Based on one columns' value I want to generate output in multiple sheet,e.g, if value='A' then Sheet1 and if value='B' then sheet2 how to achieve it. Please help. Thanks in advance!!

I couldn't select Template Type as 'Excel' in 12.1.3 version. Is there a setup to enable Microsoft Excel in the Template?

Did you check the lookup : XDO_TEMPLATE_TYPE of : Application Object Library Lookups , is XLS (Code) Enabled ?

Hi Pavan, Data template we have to design it manually- Sources of these are : Check out any standard report of this type, Google it- you will get lot number of samples. I will paste the sample which i used in this.
