Hi Sulaiman, You are right. In this video we are installing the Oracle Home and prepares for an out-of-place patch of the database. When you move the database into the new Oracle Home, you must execute datapatch to finish the patching. In fact, it is better to run datapatch one time too many, than one too few. Running datapatch multiple times will not harm you. Datapatch automatically detects if patches are missing and installs only if needed. You could also use AutoUpgrade for patching the database. Then you don't need to worry about whether datapatch needs to run or not. AutoUpgrade automates it completely for you. Regards, Daniel

Hello, What will happen with the installer if patch failed due to any reason? Installer will contunue or will be failed?
