Oral Hygiene Instructions for Patients with Braces

Successful orthodontic treatment requires a partnership between the orthodontist and the patient. The orthodontist and team are responsible for planning and executing the treatment and the patient is tasked with taking care of their teeth and braces during the treatment. Both aspects of the partnership are equally important. Without patient compliance, even the best orthodontic treatment plans can fail.
