Hello Dr Ryan, thanks for all your videos, while I’m watching your video I also read the NBDE mosby book, and I’m confused because you mentioned ranula as a type of mucous extravasation phenomenon and in the book mentioned it as a type of retention cyst due to a Sialolith, would you clarify that please! Sounds like it could be some type of hypersalivation. If it is concerning to you, ask your dentist the next time you go!
