Thanks for being able to split justuce and be realistic. Any other season we would be going into the Olympics with a clear rival based on performance from the season leading up. The announcers aren't even counting us in. All attention is on Christian Coleman, Shacarri, Noah Lyles, Sydney, Camacho-Quinn, Kerr vs Ingerbristen, Paulino, Femke Bol, etc. Jamaican names aren't even in the mix of conversation as the favorites to win. Right now them even write off Shericka by saying she's in danger if Sydney choose to run the 200m. I love our athletes but they can’t always be on top so the fans who are in denial will be up for a disappointment if a wow moment doesn't happen now or at trials.

Agree with you Maverick. We not saying all the athletes should be blazing right now but a few should be showing some medal contender form or getting close to that form so close to trials. And we talking about the track athletes. Hibbert and the other jumpers showing good form. Only Ruschelle looks like she's on track to do some damage in the 400m hurdles right now and there's no reason to believe that she wont continue to improve until the Olympics. And that's what we need to see because she has Femke and Sydney who says she's running the 4 hurdles and not the flat 400m, to compete with. I see ppl say Seville look good but his 200m times not all that great, just a pb and the best by a Jamaican this season. Those times would have to improve some to even make 200m semis in Paris. I can't say him on track until i see him in a 100m race with some of the top guys because it not only about times but how to handle pressure against the big guns. Whats also strange is the few number of meets that our athletes have taken part in so far. Is it the they are so far behind in training? The Americans have been out and running all over the place and are still expected to contend for top medals in all the sprints in Paris. So what is our problem? I dont expect Shelly to run alot before Paris but what's happening with the others?

While the Americans start the season not missing a beat. Their form and execution don't seem rudimentary like the Jamaican especially Bolt. Jadon Hibbert don't look bad. I am afraid to say Brianna Lyston may bruk soon. So I am excited about her but very wary of that possibility.
