I made the snarling stink face I get when I play something heavy when you were playing those EMG's through it. I am looking to pick up the Mk Ultra and custom 50 as my first 2 orange amps for the studio. Top notch playing and tone. Well done.

Orange's are a sleeper for their CLEANS, they sound so damn good.

Honestly I like orange the most for their fuzzy distortion so I'd like to hear more of that

Doug hello! that part of your playing starting at 1.36 min is perfect piece of real music very hard to find (looks easy to play, but that relaxed feeling in playing is for most players imposible task, thank you.) i am very good guitar player myself and i am still seeking for a perfect tone, and now i found it❤ i would buy that amp. please tell me what guitar is that strat at that part of recording? bye

agree,,, but that clean sound along with the Fender 63 reverb sounds exactly the same as my Fender Super Reverb... I have a EL34 powered Cornford that also does that level of gain. I wanted to love this Orange (and I love the Brand and history) but I just haven't got hooked by any of the current models,,,

Beautiful clean and dirty clean tones, but it would have been nice to hear some actual overdrive with that LP Jr or even a Tele, especially seeing as how that's the BEST PART about vintage voiced Oranges! Pretty sure no one with EMGs will be buying the CS50 over the RV50 haha.

This is one of my favorites from 🍊 but not really into the high gain tones so would be a waste of features for me plus have an 800 w 34s

Used to have an early 70's OR120 head. Man that thing was though to play. Loud and kinda stiff sounding. But when you push it ...ultimate sludge, fuzzy tones. Unbearably loud
@mod3l10 жыл бұрын
man i hate it when i see when orange is gaining popularity with these modern day metal that use it as a one trick pony (as the reast of their gear) when their amps can do so much more...

Sounds great. Just cant justify Custom Shop money. My little 8 watt hardwired Dr.Z Carmen Ghia clone and mr MK2 Boss Katana 100 is all I need. It is a great sounding amp though.

Cheesy music and blah tones. Doug has taken a really unique instrument and made it sound as generic as possible. I have a Retro 50, which is the same amp without the presence control. It really shines in the low to mid gain realm and can also pull off some good stoner rock tones. Why Doug chose to showcase the amp's Fendery cleans and paltry metal tones is beyond me. His NAMM demos are a much better representation of the amp.
