What do they eat.....I got them from a near by lake...when I feed them fish food they don't eat...when I give them cooked rice they eat....but I doubt if rice is enough nutrition for them....

Nice, I believe this variety is rarer than the orange orange chromide, I personally prefer this type

This is how the wild Orange chromide look. While breeding the color changes , the lower part of the body turns black & the upper part is yellowish orange. I will share the Video of the fry shortly.

Hello from tbe U.K. Nice video. I've had these before but not I've got DWARF Cichlids, I would like to get some, I think they should be able to co-exist as DWARF Cichlids are not aggressive, would you agree?

Hi David, If the dwarf cichlids share the same water parameter requirement as these Orange chromide, then it should work. Most African Dwarf fish share same water parameters as these fish i.e water on the alkaline side. These fish don't do great in acidic water under 7 pH. Thank you for watching :)

Great info! I don’t own these species and don’t plan to. But I loved watching them. Hahah
