Ummm… So how exactly are they going to “keep walking with” those who were injured? Zero info on if/how they are investigating, lessons learned, specific repentance, etc. They want to VERY rapidly turn your attention away from the problems and focus on only their positive PR message about their future. I hope I’m wrong, but this felt yucky. 🙄

"Orange is a team of ministry leaders, educators, researchers, counselors, writers, editors, artists, musicians, and producers all committed to supporting churches and families as they nurture the faith and future of the next generation." In their whole website Jesus is never mentioned. It is all about production and entertainment.

So, help me understand. What is the point of this video? I am not familiar with Orange - except Orange County, CA LOL

I had no idea what this was, either. From a Google search, Reggie Joiner is the author of a book called "Think Orange," which looks like it's about involving parents in youth ministry. Reggie Joiner (the founder) and Kristen Ivy (the CEO) stepped down after a situation of clergy s-xual abuse. Kristen is 20 years younger than Reggie and it sounds like he had groomed her and crossed the boundaries. According to an article on the Roys Report, it sounds like there are many more victims. I think the point of this video is to illustrate that what was said here at the opening of the conference was a nice polished PR response, in contrast to what Kristen wanted to be said, which would have called out the sin more clearly and empowered other victims to see it as not just an "inappropriate relationship" but as clergy s'xual abuse. That didn't happen, and it seems to me like the board is content to insufficiently cover this issue and gaslight those who are pressing for true repentance.

Reggie is one of the founding members of North Point. Orange was developed & designed at North Point.😢
