The Gear box’s are easy. Both levers straight up is nuetral. Right lever only forward is low gear, once you get rolling you pull that lever back that’s high gear. Right lever straight and left lever forward is reverse.

Soglad i decided not to go cause i wouldn't have been able to see the action anyway. And usually once someone grabs the lead at OCFS It's about over. Such a shame because it used to be one of the best tracks in the North East. Such is the way it goes in DIRT racing. Thanks for the video Tom.

It appears that that track is going by the way side like Rolling wheels and many others too. Like syracuse . In the 53 years of going there weekly its a shame to see it get so bad when you leave you are wearing half the track.

That growing potatoes is not far off the key to lower dust is not calcium its organic material they were told that by expert dirt prep people do they listen,,, look at tracks in Midwest very little if any dust imo,,

Why when it rains the tracks great? Mother nature doesn't rain calcium!!!
@BearRacing4 ай бұрын
If it's raining then the sun most likely isn't out, which makes the track dry a lot slower...

This track is always too dusty. They should dig it up and plant potatoes or onions there. So many better tracks

Well I get it..but it's the people not the track.....going there 56 years it was the best when people cared! Mike Gurda was giving that place to him so he doesn't care at all it's a shame..but we also as people never stick together..look at how we live today

@@benjaminrizzo6573 I agree with you regarding Mike Gurda. I moved to this area from upstate New York back in 1990 and was and still am a huge asphalt modified fan. I grew up watching racing at Shangri-La Speedway in Owego, NY, idolizing Richie Evans, undoubtedly one of the best short track drivers of all time. That track is now gone, so I understand the heartfelt pain of losing something that has so much tradition and memories from the past. With Flo Racing, I have had the opportunity to watch a lot of dirt track races and have really enjoyed that too. Many great drivers and talent. I love seeing racetracks as they each have so much character, and Orange County is no different. I hope racing never ends there. I know Doug Galgarian, and I think he has done a great job there.
