So do you recommend home buying today? Should I wait.. i am a first time buyer as well. Not sure if there is a special interest rate for first time homebuyers???

It really always depends on a few things 1) do you plan on staying more than 5 years 2) is your job stable 3) can you get into the area and type of home you want within your budget (even if it’s not perfect). If the answer is yes to these three questions then it’s definitely worth exploring the option of buying. They do have different programs for first time home buyer that offer downpayment assistance and there are also ways to get a lower rate as well so it really comes down to talking to a knowledgeable lender and real estate agent in your area to see if it’s a smart choice for you to start looking at homes.
