This song is nothing but awesome ! I was always a rock metal guy musician . A friend had an extra ticket. After being stood up . I went . And REM was fantastic ! They changed my musical taste for life . Thanks for teaching us this song bro !

Great work as usual! But as an REM superfan, I'd like to point out that it sounds to me like the D in the verse (3rd fret B string) sounds like it should be the 12th fret harmonic on the D string to me. Playing live Peter seems to add even more harmonics, but the studio version sounds like just that one note to me. Another minor nitpick, but the open A string to B in the chorus should be a hammer on. Anyway great video, another song I've never seen done right until you cover it!

Great arpeggios and harmonics. Very Buck-ing good! 🤓

Very good. Only thing missing as usual are the 3-4 windups that Buck does on the song (rhythm-wise--E chord fast windup at 7th fret). LIsten to the studio version carefully you can hear them, though a few are mixed back a bit.

Defo a lot of Vietnam vibes …but typical of Stipe to make it all quite ambiguous.
