Orange OR-120 70s repair/service, part 1.

I had mine checked over recently and Orange found an incorrect resistor value was causing hum, along with the Filter Caps etc. Sounds awesome, Crystal clear but warm tone but will distort when pushed hard.

Interesting amp, looks like a pretty simple design with a few quirks. Are those straight black wires on the output valves the heater wiring? Monster transformers! Looking forward to part 2.

Seems that the knob with primate symbol is not boost but punch. 🤓
