I should look that band up, they definately have a good sound going on especially Coca Monte. He can easly make bass sound like a lead instrument instead of something that gets too often flushed out of the mix.

Nah, not really, the output stage is much more important on bass amps imo. Those big output tubes and transformers give you the real oomph
