I made a tangy Basque cheesecake with just one orange! I also added some orange zest, so the aroma was really rich! There were a few bits of peel when eating, but it wasn’t too bothersome. However, you can adjust it according to your taste!
On hot days like these, when you lose your appetite, something fresh and zesty is perfect! I love Basque cheesecakes, but I was looking for something with a little more variety in flavor. Then I bought some oranges and decided to try making this. 😊 It has a dense, rich texture, typical of a good Basque cheesecake.

Preheat the oven to 428°F for 20 minutes, then bake at 392°F for 25 minutes.
After baking, leave the cake in the oven with the door open for about 8 minutes, until the oven cools down completely.
400g cream cheese
100g sugar
145g whole eggs
80g heavy cream
7g cornstarch
60g orange juice (1 orange)
Zest of 1 orange
