Optimal strategies on how to use the Goblin Cage and how to counter the Goblin Brawler. It is a defensive building that should ONLY be played REACTIVELY. NEVER Passively. Never pre-plant the Cage. It can defend against more than just building targeting units. It's comparable to a Knight with more tanking capabilities for 1 extra elixir.

I dont think so, Tombstone can be played for offense because skeletons can distract heavy units like pekka, inferno dragon from hitting your tanks like golem or giant. Goblin cage cant do that

I am a tombstone user and I thought the same. The difference between the cage and the tombstone is that cage is a tankier and more counterpushy option, while tombstone is a more bait/swarmy/distraction option.

No, tombstone spawns skeletons quickly that can stall tanks like pekka for three elixir. Then it explodes into more skeletons that can stall it longer. Also it can beat medium tanks alone like prince. It can also stop and distract hog riders and ram riders completely if used right.

Nah not really. Bad lightning rod. Battleram can absorb 6 elixir for 4, Or if on tower you gain 1 barbarian(unless tower is low hp). Goblin cage absorbs 2 bolts which is worth 4 elixir. it's an equal elixir trade. all it helps do is stop your tower from dying as easily from lightning.

Basically goblin cage has 2 phases, more dmg, less hp. So what you what saying is that the goblin cage is a better version of the knight I think the Goblin Cage should be 3 elixir like the Knight since they both are similiar.

pro tip: optimal placement is actually to place the cage slightly in the opposite lane to put the attacker in both princess tower's range for maximum damage output, i do this every time and it works out very fine
