On my way down to visit Mom for the 4th of July! Thanks for the tips, we haven't been to Peace Pie or Maday yet! One activity you didn't mention is hanging out at restaurants! Sipping a frosty beverage while sitting on a balcony to catch the sea breeze is one of my favorite activities.... my favorite places to do so are Sangria's on the corner of Hypolita and St. George, and Salt Life Food Shack on St. A Beach. Beaches of Vilano is also amazing too, with fabulous views of the city across the Matanzas bay, and the Usina bridge has a wildlife path you can walk along right there at the end of the parking lot.

Salt life restaurant on st.augustine beach. Excellent place to eat great seafood . You can eat inside or outside and enjoy a great view . The show tanked on discovery made the beautiful fish tank inside. Great prices and friendly staff.

Great KZbin! From a local, embrace the heat. While you’re here love a T-shirt, quick dry shorts, and a good pair of flops. The next season is coming soon so enjoy the heat while you have it.

Can’t forget the St. Augustine Lighthouse with AC cooled Museums that you can explore. Also, for a small fee, climb to the top for views that are majestic.

Great channel. Always excited for new content and you never disappoint. While you were in Sr Augie did you check out City Gate Distillery? I LOVE that place, and you get a really nice free cooler when you buy 6 bottles! Also, Crucial Coffee across from the fort is awesome as well. Their ice coffees are a great way to cool off.

The pool at 2:12 mark has a plaque, original site of hotel where the manager poured the acid in during the Civil Rights movement. St . Augustine has turned into a tourist trap but you can still find hidden gems. Will never forgive St. Augustine Beach/County for allowing the Embassy Suites to ruin the beautiful north end of SAB...

We are going to St Augustine in August, staying in St Augustine Beach. Just wondering if it is necessary to rent a car? What kind of other transportations are there in St Augustine beach?
@ChadGallivanter2 жыл бұрын
Old Town Trolley Tours provides a complimentary "Beach Bus" at select beachside hotels. However, if you don't plan on taking one of their trolley tours, a rideshare service or renting a car are your best options. Here is a link to the Old Town Trolley website listing the stops the Beach Bus makes. www.trolleytours.com/st-augustine/beach-bus-shuttle WIth all of the stops, it can be very time-consuming. Also, keep in mind.at the end of the day, the last bus departing the historic district for the beachside hotels is around 4:30pm.
