Totally get you! I had it down to the point that I could time the Tubelectric Levels to play certain parts of the song at certain parts of the level for maximum eye candy to ear pleasure! Just when that big explosion part I'd fly out the tube and start smacking those eyeball dudes.

As a small kid I have played this game at my older cousin’s home for a brief moment. Long after, only this music was still in my memory and I wanted to hear it again. Not knowing the title of the BGM or even the game itself, I tried hard to search it out, only with a clue ‘action game with a rabbit’ And there we go, finally I found it lol

Back when I first played the game this soundtrack is what I imagined the future would sound like... I still think this.

I find it amusing how many people still look this game up now and then because they loved the music so much.

"Lets pray that $500,- Gravis ultrasound card is gonna work.." -the good old days-
@Lachlant19846 жыл бұрын
Was the Ultrasound really that expensive? I'm pretty sure the sound card we had put in our PC in 1996 was a fairly generic SoundBlaster 16 compatible card.
@tom56776 жыл бұрын
Ultrasound was very expensive at the time, however a sound blaster worked well enough for what was needed
@Vulpovile4 жыл бұрын
I thought Gravis was always the budget MIDI option, and only now they exploded in price
@blppt2 жыл бұрын
@@tom5677 Yeah, this is a mod tracker---the only benefit the Ultrasound/Max provided for this was that it could take some of the mod tracker processing work off the cpu, which is why if you had a SB16/AWE32, you would see a second menu option where you could choose the sound quality based on the cpu you had. The Ultrasound, it didn't really matter what CPU you had (and thus no cpu-dependent sound quality menu) as long as it was fast enough to run the game itself. The benefit the Ultrasound gave was its high quality wavetable synth, but this audio does not use MIDI wavetable synth.

This is my favourite theme from this game with the Medivo soundtrack being my second favourite. This gives me memories of computer club at school where I would be allowed to play this game as well as others during the lunch break.

This is marvellous! At the age of four (!), I used to be scared by those sparkling sun monsters always chasing... Haunting! Never stopping! Hard to shake off. Only by the age of ten I was courageous enough to shoot those bastards, accompanied by THIS very music! Hard to imagine my life has doubled its length since then. Do all pianophiles share the same childhood emotions connected with games? Tomek might be an experienced gamer, too...
