I have grown vetches on a field scale when we started making silage ( as opposed to hay ) in 1978. The mixture sown was oats ,peas and vetches .The peas and vetches climbed up the oats then flowered. Being legumes they added protein to the forage mixture.

VETCH STARE TINGE ELITE QUITE I enjoyed the swings when I was younger.

Vetch made sense to me since crownvetch is a common flowing plant that spreads. We had it in the yard when I was a kid. Certainly using the Q wasn't the first thing to come to mind. Strands: Saw SANDBOX, immediately knew what was going on, so it was easy to find PLAYGROUND Connections, found it kind of tricky. Made just one mistake, will take it. Puzzle #402 🟩🟩🟪🟩 Limit forward motion (had NIX in this) 🟨🟨🟨🟨 Businesses on proverbial Main Street 🟦🟦🟦🟦 Groups of Animals (this was my aha moment to get moving after being stuck for a while) 🟪🟪🟪🟪 FIrst parts of US Presidents last names. 🟩🟩🟩🟩 Limit forward motion (should have nixed NIX and used HAMPER in my first guess).

@@Tiqerboy I’d say NIX was the only tricky word today as it could fit into two categories. Otherwise, I think the rest was manageable. 😎

STARE TITLE WHITE UNITE QUITE (5) Strands #136 “Park place” 🔵🟡🔵🔵 🔵🔵🔵 Finding SLIDE right away made me think of kids playing in a playground, which quickly suggested the theme and the spangram. The rest was a breeze, although I never heard of a CLIMBER. I imagine it's what they used to call "monkey bars" when I was a kid. Made one mistake.

@doraa.7873. Climber was odd for me too; I'd have said climbing frame. Climber makes me think of the person/animal doing the climbing. Oh, and a plant that's a climber. Just thought of that. ☺️🇬🇧

@@ellensassani That would be an interesting category. I feel like pop culture gives us the most challenging puzzles and those types of puzzles lead to the most fails across the community. Names of presidents, bands, artists, etc are what makes categories on this game great.
