I see a couple *very* overpopulated categories. I see what's the 'odd man out' but no obvious Connection. This is going to require some thought. Challenging puzzle!

Had the ONE AWAYS in Connections as I often do and was not familiar with PET SHOP BOYS. Was fine in Wordle and Strands.

Great job with my puzzle! This time you spotted the Purple category right away, so the other three overloaded ones did not present a problem. If I had chosen SHENANDOAH instead of RENT, would you have thought of that first as a musical or a river?

Talked myself into Prawn before Drawn too Do the connection puzzle creators get to set the order for their puzzles or does it get randomly generated? Oranje's solve video order is different then the order of Ellen's puzzle I just opened. I know the NYT connections sometimes like to make jokes/red herrings in the first row Nice puzzle Ellen, good to see you includes dogs in it for Oranje

@@losh23 I’m not sure about the order of the words on the screen when you open the puzzle. I do the preview video and then do the solve video right after so I may have shuffled them by accident.

The order does seem quirky. I swear that sometimes the order in my generated puzzle is different from the order I saw in the preview area as I was creating it.

After what seemed like a lot of very tricky puzzles last week (for me, anyway) I finally had an easy day! Connections Puzzle #455 🟪🟪🟪🟪 _____ boys 🟦🟦🟦🟦 Church leaders/officials 🟩🟩🟩🟩 Heart actions resulting from exertion or excitement 🟨🟨🟨🟨 Steps in making a cake I know this is nitpicky, but it bothered me that the words in the yellow category box are in the wrong chronological order. The correct order would be: 1) PREHEAT (the oven) 2) BEAT (the batter) 3) BAKE (the cake) and 4) FROST (the cake)

@@ellensassani Thanks, Ellen! You're right. I forgot about the alphabetical order. When you create your own puzzles, do you have to arrange the words in alphabetical order? Or does the program do that for you automatically?

@@dora.7873 The words can be entered in any order, and they can be shuffled before finalizing the puzzle. However, sometimes I could swear that the final puzzle comes out different than what I saw on the preview. I'll have to remember to take screenshots to make sure.

Today was one of those days I managed that. Minor point. Of course the objective is to solve this without taking too much time. “A royal shade” 🟡🔵🔵🔵 🔵🔵🔵🔵 Connections : an easy day, I guess I could have had the reverse rainbow as I did see purple and light blue at roughly the same time. No big deal. See, PET SHOP stuck out like a sore thumb. That makes them a easy solve. The harder part was separating out yellow from green as BEAT could have gone in either.
