the prominent themes of the show are truth and inspiration which surepasses genrations and as rafael said in 3rd episode that what the church is against is not the heretics its imagination and curiosity in short the truth itself. so whenever they say chi we assume truth which fits to the circumstances that the characters are in and also fits the theme but i was kind of confused when badeni said "what we need to change the world is truth" which fits the theme of the show but it is not what badeni would say (probably) ! knowledge fits perfectly. thank you for letting me know about the mistranslation or i probably would have spent an unholy amount of time thinking about that 😅 この番組の顕著なテーマは、世代を超えて確かに伝わる真実とインスピレーションであり、第3話でラファエルが言ったように、教会が敵対しているのは異端者ではなく、その想像力と好奇心、つまり真実そのものである。 だから彼らが「チー」と言うときはいつでも、キャラクターが置かれている状況に適合し、テーマにも適合する真実を想定しますが、バデニが「世界を変えるために必要なのは真実です」と言ったときは少し混乱しましたが、それはショーのテーマに適合しますしかし、それはバデニが言うようなことではありません（おそらく）！知識が完璧にフィットします。誤訳について知らせてくれてありがとう、そうでなかったら、おそらくそのことについて考えてとんでもない時間を費やしていたでしょう 😅

I think the translation of the Japanese word "chi" as truth is a mistranslation. Truth changes with time and place. I think it is more natural to translate "chi" as "knowledge" with the Japanese sound. I don't know, I'm Japanese, but is truth more natural in context for foreign Nikki?
