11:00 to 11:05 is my favorite part She (Meridith Kerman) does not look happy i dont think she wants to be here (Mun space station) however Garagan is staring off into space like every other male Kerbal.

Dam singularity! I think my graphics card is on the way out every now and again my screen would just blank for a second I'm sure it's all that KSP

Thank you so much for the tutorial, when I launched this to the moon i was afraid of no having enough fuel so I made a leech fuel, it goes into orbit with the desired shuttle, having extra fuel grabbing it with the advanced grabbing unit and then re fuels it, you should try it with you space crafts. :D
@kerrikwolf46959 жыл бұрын
Nice. I'm learning a lot from you so I can go forth and make my own Kerbal mistakes. Hopefully it won't involve too many Kerbals dying....
@Orb8Ter9 жыл бұрын
Their sacrifice in the pursuit of advancing your space program is a worthy cause :D Making mistakes is the best part of ksp, they started off as frustrating to me but now the only frustrating thing is if I have to fix something on my rocket it will be on my mind all day in work untill I get home and can fix it :D
@kerrikwolf46959 жыл бұрын
Cool. I'll definitely keep that in mind while I build a graveyard for my Kerbals.

You don't need sepetrons if you put your decouplers closer to the top of the tanks. I played with them a little but never use them anymore. Putting your decouplers at the top of the tank kicks the top out better. Since the bottom of the tanks never hit anything as they are much lower on the rocket its less of an issue.
@Orb8Ter9 жыл бұрын
+K162KingPin Thanks for the tip, but you have to admit they cool firing while decoupling the boosters ;)

I suck alot at this game because I suppose I don't go into alot of technical detail. I can manage simple orbits but alot of the jargon and calculation is kind've lost on me. Until I get there though it's nice to see somebody else accomplish these cool things.
@Orb8Ter8 жыл бұрын
+Motör Punx Some of the best players don't even use the tools or calculations but they learnt from just playing and getting a feel for the game, when I started playing and tried to encounter another craft it took me two days to get it right there was a lot of rage quitting there ;)
@austinsheffield51587 жыл бұрын
Start out with mechjeb. It has autopilot that gets you in orbit, rendezvous, docking, and lands on the moon. Works for me but just turn your antivirus off while using it but it’s 100% safe. Hope this helps

I built the scanning probe i cant get it into polar orbit how long does it take for you to get the probe to the mun? when i think i get a good trajectory to the moon of kerbin and it flys right past the moon when i fast forward time. i fast forward cause it takes forever and thats why im asking here how long does it take in real time to get the scanning probe to the mun?
@mikab20796 жыл бұрын
I was bad at it to you just need to get a feeling for everything thats how i got my friends finally to the mun

Can you do a quick video on the changes in 1.0.4 and how it affects reentry/exit or dissipating heat while in space? I've been away from KSP for the past week (exams....) and I want to get back into it being pretty on top of things Thanks for the great videos :)
@Orb8Ter9 жыл бұрын
Immortalcheese Just created a video not much has changed but it does look like heating may be a thing, Video will probably be up some time tomorrow 'sign' takes so long to render.
@jwenting9 жыл бұрын
Immortalcheese main difference in 1.04 is that your reentry needs to be more shallow than before. Heating has become a bit less brutal overall, heat seems to spread better around the craft (at least with stock parts, mods will need to be updated to use the new heating system, but if you're adventurous you can do that yourself by fiddling with the cfg files using the stock cfgs as an example).

If you're very desperate for dV, ditch your farings at 35km, that's the point at which the dV lost through mass is greater than the dV loss through drag.. Dunno why I said that xD Congrats on 500+ subs man ;)
@SayHiToSebas9 жыл бұрын
Jordan O'C Yea Gratz!
@Orb8Ter9 жыл бұрын
Thanks will try ditching the fairings at 35k always worried it would flip the rocket and it's cool to watch the fairing slowly separate in a uniform pattern in space B). 500 subs WOW it's happens so quickly I will have to do something but very busy at the moment but hopefully soon ;-)
@Xenro669 жыл бұрын
Orb8Ter As long as you have some fins at the very bottom of your rocket, you won't spin out, as far as I'm aware. But yeah, they looks pretty cool in space, only wish they were 2-6 part farings, not loads of tiny pieces. Indeed haha, I can't even imagine what you'll do hahaha.
