Hold my unique never before done vocals. Anyone saying he is the younger version of James Hetfield never actually listened to how young hetfield sounded. Hetfield had a much higher voice when he did distorted vocals. This guy has a much deeper voice with a tad bit more distortion in his vocals.

They give me "Holographic Universe"/"Pitch Black Progress" era Scar Symmetry vibes. Scar Symmetry is goddamn excellent, but they haven't had a release in awhile. There's also Dark Tranquility but their newest albums are a lot more focused on the "melodic" part of "melodic death metal" if that makes sense(still excellent imo).

You know... with some bands you are almost hesitant when they release new songs - worried that as time goes on, the metal kind of fades out. I think they’re better to be honest, I enjoyed sylosis the most from the supreme oppressor to conclusion of an age...edge of the earth and monolith were incredible as well but I think their new album isn’t that great. The albums before had guitar solos that were out of this world and I didn’t feel that in the new one bar one or 2 songs. They had a great balance of cleans and screams on conclusion of an age and haven’t had it as much since which is a shame. I think orbit culture has that down packed the way sylosis USE to
