The band includes vocalist/guitarist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson, and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt. Former band members are lead guitarist Maximilian Zinsmeister, bassist Christoffer Olsson and drummer Markus Bladh. The band has released three studio albums and three EPs.

These dudes go so damn hard....RedFog is an older one when they were maturing as musicians and figuring out the sound and style. Nik the vocalist gets compared to Hetfield a ton and it was one of his biggest inspirations. The newest stuff is SICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCK dude, Vultures of North or anything off the Shamon EP or Nija Album....Keep going on the OC train they dont miss.

Found this song and “SAW” by random on KZbin and I’ve been hooked on this band ever since. OC is the future of Metal. Open Eye is another amazing hard and fast song. Great video! 🤘🏻

They are very influenced by metallica and gojira but of course plus their own style on top. Their Mirrorslave is a nod to Sad But True. Great amazing band.

So, yeah, the heavy Metallica influence is very intentional. They even have a Metallica cover. I really think Niklas' growls are absolutely top notch in the industry and he's got a good singing voice as well, very fitting for what they do. They evolved A LOT from their first two albums (starting with "Odyssey" in 2013) to what they're doing now. All the albums are bangers, though, so please listen to the earlier songs, too. I would say the song Nensha gives basically a complete picture of what they're about since after the second album. "Flight Of The Fireflies" and "Northstar Of Nija" also have a broad scope of their overall style and those two are a favorite of many. "Sun Of All" is one I personally return to quite a lot....and then proceed to listen to 10 others songs of theirs. But I'd be really hard pressed to name a single favorite. I don't think I can and I really don't want or have to, hah.

Any song from the album Shaman is so epic. Only 5 songs but every song is so good. From the album Nija you can also pick any song and same for Redfog. i would say

You're going to love this band. Everything they've made are all bangers. 🤘🤘🤘 There is no favorite song by this band. As you'll find out, they're all fkn ridiculous. 😂 "Saw" is where ppl usually start, so it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Or North star of nija - live in studio is another excellent starter. Most will likely lead you to nensha and the shadowing, tho. Just pick anything from their Rasen or nija albums, or Saw and Way of the masses from Redfog EP. Their entire Shaman EP is out there, too. It's hard to choose. You'll see. 🤘 Edit: they've got a new album coming out any day now.
