In this video I talk about the Orbit Reader 20 and how to pair it to an iOS or ipad OS device. I also explain how to pair it to a Mac. I provide my thoughts on the device after one week's use.

I'm not blind, but I would totally love to have access to a braille terminal for experimentation in a Linux environment. Awesome fun!

I actually kind of like the noise it makes in your video when the Braille display refreshes! It’s a very nice, gentle sound and I think a selling point of I can ever afford a Braille display

Thank you for sharing your review, I'm trying to help my mom decide which model she wants to get between 20 or 40 cell, but the Orbit ones really do seem incredible for being significantly cheaper than every other brand out there. I subscribed and look forward to checking out more of your videos!

Nice reviews. The last time I had access to Braille on a routine basis was high school. I graduated in 2007. Your welcome I just aged myself. Anyway, the note taker Braille displays that I used was one of those super expensive kind. Do you think this device is comparable to the well known brands?

Hey there. Just came across your channel. I’m also a huge technology fan myself. I’m also totally blind and would love to be friends with you. If you are up for it. ❤️❤️😁

is it everytime does that bad loud chchchchch sound?
@KristyViers2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Unfortunately it continuously makes that sound as the Braille dots on the screen move.

Do you find that it is loud? I hear it on your video...

I don't have one of these myself. The noise of the pins refreshing could take some getting used to but I don't find it too loud or annoying.
