I played a good handful of characters, but I'd call Volnutt/Tekkaman Blade my main team. Both of their big combos are so dang fun to land!

Volnutt / Roll or Morrigan Gotta love the weapon switch mechanic

Zero/Tekkaman Blade is the team I used the most because they had cool supers and their combo structures weren't too hard to learn. Strangely enough, I played Roll/Ryu as a substitute team because I really wanted to learn Roll when I first played the game and Ryu is always the go-to choice for beginner fighting game players.
