This is a particularly great video, not because of the incredible content as always - but because I am from High Wycombe. The airport and it's surrounding areas have been modelled fairly well, I was surprised at the detail of the car park and views of the airfield from the M40 motorway towards London. In real life there is a scrapped Luftwaffe aircraft from WW2 that is near the "static" trucks at the beginning of the video - I was kind of hoping it was in there! :) A few more bits of information for anyone who's interested - Booker Airfield is actually pronounced "Book-ah" here. Not sure why but that's how we say it! Secondly, High Wycombe has a very rich & important history in British Aviation. Two miles from "Booker Airfield/Wycombe Air Park" is RAF High Wycombe in Naphill/Walters Ash, Buckinghamshire. It was RAF Bomber Command during the Second World War from 1940-1968 during the Prague Spring, there are lots of deactivated bombs and craters in & around the surrounding area due to Luftwaffe's bombing raids. RAF High Wycombe now houses the Headquarter for Air Command & European Air Group. It is a non-flying base but still hugely important for the RAF. Great video as always, just thought I'd share my few cents!

Wonderful stuff right on the beat with the music. And another great bit of work from Orbx. Also, I agree with the other comment, a bit on the high priced side for me. Nothing to do with MS simulator just much even though I know how much work must have gone into it. I still think if you have purchased true earth south or whatever region the airport should all be discounted by 50% I feel like I am buying it twice. Well done I love your work.

Great video Thomas! Although slightly annoying that you used an N registered PA28 when G-SIXT (Included with the JF PA-28 Warrior II) is actually based at Booker flight training here at Wycombe!

Thanks =) Argh, would have been a nice detail to have that particular aircraft in the video, if I had just known =) Thanks for watching ;)

Beautiful scenery, but for the price they should cut the grass.

Nice vid, thanks for sharing. Flew in and out of there in Gliders and Cessna’s many times in days gone by. Bit pricey this add-on and if I’m completely honest I am reluctant to spend a lot on just one airfield just now (even though I feel some affinity with it ) with MS2020 looming.

I wish they will make the airports we are missing badly rn. Heathrow and Gatwick. We have them but they are just bad. And Gatwick i think was even withdrawn from sale

No prefer they stick to the small airports - plenty of developers around for the larger tubeliner fans

Never ever seen that many Libelles at Wycombe could have added a little variety with the gliders and no glider trailers - i.e. would it be that much more difficult to make static models of gliders that belong to Booker Gliding club -Booker is one of the main gliding centres in the UK -it is these small details that detract from Orbx airport scenery and to me smacks of a little laziness in the development team -they are like 80-90% there most of the time - never ever quite get the details right - same with Old Warden -very few of the Shuttleworths collections aircraft modelled and you just don't see as many spamcans there as Orbx have placed there - good but not spectacular -will probably buy when on 50% sale -too expensive for what it is now.
