Dear Orchestral Tools I noticed that there are some inconsistent articulations within woodwinds. I would like to know if flute 1 will ever get accent sustains and soft sustains like flute 2 and 3, same goes to auto flute and piccolo. What about marcato longs and shorts in same way. This also happens with other instruments in the library and I was wondering why isn't there any consistency about it? Will you ever record the missing articulations to get consistency with the new recordings? Anyway these sound great. I will await your response.

@@GoOKuSj33 no unfortunately I did not, its because their woodwind library is the oldest of the 4 berlin libraries.

Hello Orchestral Tools Team. Just bought this Library. Is there a user manual available?

Hi Ben - congratulations on the purchase! We hope you're enjoying Berlin Woodwinds. There's lots of information on the collection on the Orchestral Tools website (www.orchestraltools.com/store/collections/berlin-woodwinds). This walkthrough series will also give you a good insight into how how you can use the collection. Beyond that, if you have any specific questions our support team (support@orchestraltools.com) would be happy to help you.

@@Orchestral-Tools I chatted via email with Ariel. Most helpful as he guided me to the support link with all the information. Your support has been swift and quite awesome. Thank you!

@@citizenworld8094 man…I had to pick and choose my Black Friday purchases. I had to jump on this sale. It ain’t cheap but I had to do. My woodwinds library stunk and BWW is wonderful. Pull the trigger and figure it out later.

@@benshirleymusic Bit the bullet and bought it with the 50% discount. (and Symphonic Strings) Ariel is a good salesman. The library is simply too good and there is nothing that compares to this library. (but what about bass Cl and Contra Bassoon?) For a long time I used Spitfire Audio and they are grand lads and patches, but their demos and patches are "OK" even though OT have no decent demos but what you do audition here is miles away from SA. Plus the chap with the beard (Heinrich?) just gets to the point without all the dubious superlatives. I simply got tired of SA telling me how awesome some libraries were when there were serious lingering artefacts (Abbey Road for example) Sorry Spitfire, no hard feelings but the Germans won this war for my money - Sine of the times! I'm with OT from now on.

@@citizenworld8094 Bass Clarinet and Contra Bassoon are in the BWW Exp A library. They haven't been ported to SINE yet. These are the "legacy" recordings so keep that in mind as well.

It's a shame you can't have a frullato artic for each flute (as natural this articulation is for this instrument) because it's separated in the fx instrument. However, the fx instrument is not divided in flute 1, 2 and 3, but in solo flute and tutti flute... And this is true for every woodwind. Also, trill orchestrator doesn't seem to work anymore...
