This is essentially a reinterpretation of James Brown' gig in Kinshasa, Zaire 1974. The other video by this group, "Gbeti Madjro", also has some great James-Brown-style screams. This illustrates the importance of that concert (and US American funk) for a whole generation of afrobeat musicans.

This song is amazing. For some reason, the singer on the left/stage right, becomes transparent every now and then throughout the video. A good example of this occurs shortly after kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4TJd4dpnspgpc0m50s I'm not sure what to think, other than it was the power of the funk.

Bon, j'ai vu la liste des morceaux de la prochaine compile et ça me fait très plaisir car je me suis déjà demandé pourquoi tu avais pas compilé Ai Gabani, Karateka et A O O Ida entre autres...
