Wow, you bought lovely plants. The succulents are the best to take care of. They are so easy going as long as you give them very bright light with even some direct sun. They do better if you water them really well and not water again until they are really begging for more water.

Hi Fernanda, the Senecio is struggling for some reason, but the other succulents seem to do okay. I guess the watering routine you described is what I practice (unconciously, though). :D

I was so terrible with my haworhia collection so I sent it to Fernanda in Portugal and in that was a Zebrina ... I was fascinated with that one as well, and I'm glad you got it 😍

I too would choose Hoyas and succulents that thrive without fuss. I have a Hoya Bella that is 30 years old, it flowers reliably. It’s so forgiving of neglect. It’s a really, really, pretty pendulous flower with a really really sweet jasmine fragrance! 😂😂That’s a great store for Plantmass shopping! I am in the U.K., so from January the 1st, no orchid or plant shopping in the EU. We probably won’t have any plants to buy in the country for a while either. 🙃😔I watched Rachel’s video on her collection of Aloes, Wow! 😎🌸🌺🌸

I made a wrong guess on what you got from the garden center; I did not expect you to take home two succulents. 😄 But welcome to the Hoya club! I have three of them, but only one bloomed. I understand why you didn’t want a free cutting of that spotty plant. It does look sick.😆 I propagated a number of watermelon peperomias and it was super easy. Now I have like 5 or 6 of them. 😁 My philodendron micans of a comparable size cost 10,95€, so I think the price in your garden center is reasonable. Would you like a propagation from my plant? I would love to share it with you! 🤪But I guess we will have to wait until it’s warmer. You mentioned you’ll have to wait anyway. So I guess it’s not a problem for you. I love pothos too. I have four different varieties and now I am looking for the manjula variety. They are so easy yet so pretty especially when pendant! 😍Looking forward to the next video in this Plantmas series!

Haha. :D How did you propagate your Watermelon Peperomias? I'm thinking about starting (or reviving - literally) some propagation projects over the course of the holidays. The majula variety looks really pretty as well. And I love the neon Pothos. Oh and of course I would be up for a plant swap! :D I could separate a piece of my Hoya wayettii, my string of hearts, my pink NOID Lc. and probably some others. But we have to be aware of the thrips, so I'd understand if you wouldn't want plants from me at this point. They haven't gotten worse, but I fear they will stay, even if they are not noticeable. I've spotted them in footage of 2018. :O Have a wonderful weekend! :)

@@bumblebeesorchids3408 Thank you so much for the offer! Please understand I did not expect you to send me anything when I said I wanted to share my Philodendrum Micans with you. So please do not feel obliged to share your plants with me. But if you do happen to have some plants to share, of course as a plant addict, I cannot say no, especially since they are from my favourite KZbinr. :D It will be such a joy for me to grow some plants from your collection. Actually I have some more cuttings and divisions of houseplants and orchids that I want to share with you as well. At the end of summer, I divided a few of my big Cattleyas, such as the Laelia purpurata striata x (Cattleya rex x warscewiczii), Rhyncholaeliocattleya Golf Green ‘Hair Pig’ and a couple of others. Unfortunately they are quite big though and I am not sure if you have the space for them. Anyway let's talk about the details in spring, say, April or May. I will list the plants and orchids I have for you and their sizes and you will tell me which ones you want. By the way, I propagated my Watermelon Peperomia through leaf cuttings in both water and soil. So basically I cut a leaf into two from the middle and I put the half with the stem in water and then the other half without stem in moist soil. Both methods worked out well. I have been meaning to make a video to show you the result but have not found the time to do it. I'll try to make one in the next couple of weeks if you do not mind waiting. :)

I love all three plants that you got. If you have neemoil spray may be just spray your hoya, I think I spotted some white spot (hope I'm wrong), but cationary spray is good. Thanks for sharing and happy plantmas!

Thank you so much for being so mindful and pointing out the white spots. I spotted them, too, but it seems to be milky plant fluids that oozed from damaged parts of the leaves. Happy plantmas! :D

The paphiopedilum is similar to mine, which I bought from local flowershop. My friends from Orchid society said it most probably is deperle
