Orchid cactus, epiphyllum hybrids,变种曇花

There are at least 10,000 named epiphyllum hybrids (变种曇花). Here is a slideshow just showing a few of the hybrids I grow in my garden. Their flowers are spectacular, some with size more than 10 inches. Please enjoy!

Lovely and so many species in one video.I had only 2 white varieties.A small petal and a large petal,the large petal one is not doing well and almost dead.Had them for 20 plus years.In Malaysia its difficult to find them in nurseries,haven't seen them for sale.Have been hunting for new pink or red varieties to add to my garden.My had been flowering quite frequently lately and had some photos taken last night.I wonder whether seeds are on sale?I will be able to grow them from seeds.Malaysia don't allow plants to be ship in.

Epiphyllum are grown all over the world. You will find all the new hybrids mostly grown in US, especially in California. One can find cuttings for sale on Ebay.

Very nice video!! You can see more photos on the website of the Epiphyllum Society of America.... 'Clark Malcho' was an early hybridizer and that bloom is named for him....(not 'Marcho')
