Awesome! I think I will try this with some minor changes. I plan to make the flowers about half the size. Lose the palm trees and show just a hint of a pool of water with a few rocks around the upper edges. Awesome man I love your channel and I have a few of your style paintings on my walls and people love them. I do use oils but it works with your methods, I sometimes have to just figure it out but it works well.

no, just use mont marte acrylics from Amazon, mix them with liquitex gloss super Gel that would give it an oil feel drag, also use masterson palette that would keep the acrylics wet for days, just watch a youtube version about the palette and you will thank me ! just use acrylics bro, oils are messy and hard to clean .

Kathy McDaniel never throw away a painting you can learn from it plus best thing about acrylics is if you mess up let it dry and paint over it or Gesso over it I have a practice canvas that I literally just practice techniques on and paintings I've painted and Gessoed over it at least a dozen times

A Question,,,, How on earth does the paint not dry out on that vertical palette? You seem to work straight from the tube and do not add any water to the pools on the palette. I have recently srated using acrylic paint and at best my paint pools have a life span of 5 minutes!!! They dry out so I have to mix one colour at a time to avoid wasting paint... BTW.. the paints I am using are Golden Open and Heavy Body... but regardless.. I have other brands too with the same results...

Hello. First I'm very new at painting. I've used some of your techniques for alot of things. Then I add my own twist, and that has been working awesome for me. My question is I'm having trouble with tree bark? Any easy tips for me. My application is for use on fallen branches, or mostly dead stumps, roots. I'm a aquarium nut, I've been painting my own backgrounds. Store bought ones are expensive and there's not enough variety. looks like you busted out some baking soda mud & glue & a pinch of vacuum cleaner dirt & pencil shavings, a few bottles of some old, dried up white out & flaxseeds, & some hempseeds laying around - with some sawdust, with some real tree bark- mixed into the fucking tree man are you kidding me or what?- truly -Brilliant -Da Vinci quality -makes it look so easy.
