I purchased a Prosthechea Black Comet from a member of our orchid society in March and then a Prosthechea Green Hornet from Than in June of this year and both plants have so many blooms. We take care of plants by getting better air circulation to dry them out after what Mother Nature does when we get so much rain. Things are settling down with a break from daily rainstorms.

The rain works wonders. San Joaquin will bloom once the top grows above the structure on which it is anchored. Good luck at OFE’s.

Natalia, You might be able to get some of the tree fern medium at stores where they sell snakes and other reptiles. Some reptile enthusiasts use it for bedding in their tanks. Be sure to check out the quality before buying lots. Thanks for the stroll through your beautiful orchids! So nice to see so many in flower. Take care and enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

Such a beautiful tour! The blooms are gorgeous! I'm going to try tree fern bark too when I repot the paphs or even the phragmipediums. Also awesome you are going to be at OFEs!

Hi Natalia. Very nice tour. I just ordered some tree fern from Gardenera. I believe they are in Florida. Don’t know if it’s New Zealand tree fern, but I hope it is. I wanted to try it out. Your Phalaenopsis look fabulous. I like spagnum moss, but it gets algae very quickly in plastic pots. Love your dogs. ❤️🥰🏝️🤗
