Unboxing New Philippine Native Orchids

Sharing my 8 new Philippine Native Orchids. Coelygne Marmorata and Merili. Phalaenopsis Pulchra, Pallens, Lueddemanniana, Lendinii. Jewel Orchid and Paphiopedilum Philippinense. Some of them have flowers spikes. Let's identify them and I'll post their future flowers based on the pictures sent to me by the seller.

I am very impressed with the coelogynes! Those are some gorgeous orchids and when they bloom ... very nice! I was fascinated by the fact that some came wrapped in banana leaves.

are these collected from the wild? orchids are important species in our forests.if one species of orchid is lost, ecosystems might collapse.PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE WHAT SPECIES YOU ARE BUYING AND PLEASE KNOW WHERE THEY COME FROM. it's either they propagated it or worst it's poached from the wild....some orchids are endangered and the plant idustry is making it worse.

Actually you dont need a post to plant your orchids they will thrive in a charcoal in a pot needs a well drain pots.Mix peebles Charcoals wood chips and some moss peat just as a mulch on top watwr your orchids once a week.Fertilize regularly.But before.planting it disinfect your charcoals and peebles in a water and hydrogen peroxide or boiled water.then let it dry.Then you can start planting.
