EX Order Sol is PS1 Sol with more moves EX Baiken removes her alphacounters so she can have them as normal attacks instead EX Jam is a grappler EX Chipp can teleport on both ground and air and has shared followups on all specials EX ABA is permanently on berserk mode EX Venom doesn't use charge motions and instead of charging a ball for longer can use an individual move to power it up EX Johnny has a dp and multiple counters with an active window of up to like 60 frames And EX Sol and EX Ky are them trying to copy each other's moveset for some reason. But EX Sol is cooler with the fast as shit fire projectile that he can shippuken too, or the EX gunflame that goes fullscreen, or the super gunflame that is like his instakill sprite that specifically launches from OTG

Order-Sol is such a scary monster to face, but almost scarier to master! But that's the general thing in GGAC+R: in exchange for freedom in combo structuring, the game demands a lot of skill and somewhat strict timing. Not as much as KOFXIII, for instance, but it really doesn't give you much leeway on getting shit right. And I honestly like that a bit more than the more restricted, less execution-heavy XRD, even though I'm unbelievably terrible at this game.

Difference is that in old GG games you get huge damage if you start your combo with a big move (more if you do optimized combos), but in Strive beta you got big damage from a simple 6 hit bnb combo.

the correct answer to the chats question "what u get for doing FRC" it depends on the move u are FRCing, that order sol example is a fake out/throw mix tool, some other like for example Baikens tatami FRC is for extending combos, the key is that FRC are harder to pull off but it costs 25% meter instead of red roman cancel that costs 50%

Action Charge FRC is a half exception to being a mixup for High Order Sol. You can ACFRC after a special to retain some meter and extend a combo that would normally not work with a normal AC, make a normal blockstring to AC safe(er), or for Bandit Revolver Prototype, make it safe with four air jabs, j.Dust, whatever, then hit low and continue pressure with Blockhead Buster or leave with Gun Blaze.

Yeah, that's the crazy thing about AC+R, some characters have FRC points that are just... wild. For instance, Ky's charged stun edge has a FRC of *1 frame* which can be used to more or less glitch it and bring it up into the air with him. Thing is, one frame is a strict as hell window, so almost no one *except* for the Maniac level bot use it.

The reason I play BBCF to this day since 2008, is cause each playable character is so different it's a different game depending on WHO you play and then add that into each possible enemy playable character, making 2 games fighting eachother. And we haven't even taken into account playable style PER character, you can play many of them in so many different ways that each game has so many changable situations based on the player's style. Best non-homogenous fighting game of all time!

GGXX is my favorite fighting game. FRCs mean different things for different characters. Just to be viable, Johnny requires mastery of his FRC's. Some characters just get bonus from their, some characters require you do their's. FRC's aren't ever whiffs. Some of them are canceling an attack before it comes out to hold momentum of movement, some come out at specific frames after landing a hit to be able to continue into a combo. FRC's simply are never meant to just "whiffs." I hope you decide to main Kliff.

Yep, every character has that feeling haha I would say there's actually more than you think in regards to FRC vs YRC. YRCs are limited to before a move makes contact on hit or block. FRCs can be before contact, during hit or block, or even in recovery. You would need a red or purple RC for that in Xrd, but in this game, depending on the tool and FRC, it's 25%. Ky's Stun Edge FRC is one example where it's a combo tool, pressure tool, a way to get in and also good for neutral in general. FRCs usually make whatever a character already does, better, safer, more advantage, more damage. Sometimes it's the difference between being able to go in vs getting punished, as well

Despite i really like Guilty gear, i turned it down due to his heavy execution and the Frc, i just couldn´t do it, when playing Reload , i never bothered with it but then playing Accent core made me realize how low was my skill in this game. I spend like weeks just trying to do Ky´s Stun edge Frc but i barely could do it (supposedly, it is one of the easiest). Man i suck in this game. By the way,Order-sol is also a secret final boss but i don´t remember if in this version you can fight him.

Its funny to me after watching sajam and max's videos on this, they either say like this game is old and hard and difficult or in sajams case things like kof 2002 and guilty gear are like the same difficulty level... but the guilty gear franchise was one of the easiest FG's series I've ever picked up. Not to say it's simple or easy all around but I feel like it was always easy to pick up a character and understand what I wanted to do with it and just be able to do it. I can't quite put my finger on why but I felt super free to just pick up faust and start mixing people up and being goofy with poll stance, or knocking pool balls around as venom to rush down or zone in different ways, or double teaming and doing crazy setups with eddie, and none of it was exactly hard, and I felt like the potential was left up to my creativity rather some sort of skill barrier. I never felt like anything was in the way like hard execution or having to figure out why x moves actually work. It was super obvious to me how to enjoy these characters and I didn't feel like i needed to be at a high level to do it. The best part is that you can definitely make these characters high level, but I didn't need to learn that high level to feel like I had potential access to all my tools. In kof 2002 which I can play now, when I first got into I had no idea why the characters really worked or were good, and on their own I never really felt like they were sold like that. I would play ramon or vanessa and have these laggy normals and never understood a gameplan until I went out of my way to find out what I could be doing and even then it was difficult as fuck even execution wise, and to do all of this just to feel like I'm getting to full experience of a character was rough. (This isn't to shit on kof 2002, I love the game and this is just how they do things which is fine, all I'm saying is it was much much harder and had a much higher barrier). Just as a new comer and as someone who isn't exactly high level in fighting games I feel like guilty gear was super easy to get into and not inherently difficult to apply myself. It hits that easy to pick up but difficult to master and I think a conversation like this is interesting given topics like sajam explaining difficulty in fighting games and strives effort to make things easier, which also amuses me cause again... out of the FG's I play (3rd strike, kof 2002, rage of the dragons, TFH, Jojo, Tekken 7, dabbling in others) guilty gear was the easiest for me to get into for like a bazillion reasons, and it super caught me off guard after all these conversations made it seem like oh guilty gear is really hard you and needs to be dumbed down for a wider audience or oh theres a barrier, and then to play it and find that oh it is already very accessible that was like... nothing at all lol

I want play as slayer, i get some basic combos but every time i have to play against someone using Order-Sol they fuck me big because to much damage area, some ideas to counter him? I dont have much trouble against others characters, i mean even if i lose, at least i can do something, like move or try to hit, but against Order is like everything he does is a secure hit-connect even if you guard
