Yes, It's good. First time i came to know about "Oridinal", "offest" and "length" in correlation.. Just want to know what is specific use for using offset and length.

well...you want to use only partial value of the captured parameter...... lets say...you have captured "VIRAT KOHLI" but some reason you want to use only "VIRAT"...

If i have two dynamic values like one is state and other is cities if we select state it will show number of cities in that like KA- 10 cities, Ap-8,MH-12,TN-15 and in that every time i need to select last but one only, how can chose that by using ordinal?

try using below functions to get your job done lr_paramarr_len -- to get the length of the array, so that you would know the last index lr_paramarr_idx -- to get the last value

Sorry may be I did not understand properly, I tried two things : 1. I put this two function after correlation function , but nothing getting stored in this function parameter 2. I put this two function after the request where we have written correlation function but it’s still the same.

Hello , For example we have in Web tours ...depart and arrive city. ..for both of them we have same LB and RB ..I have done correlation but how to use dem into two different ways ..

Yes..The arrival and departure city won't be same right...so that each and every time it should be a different selection ..how to do that ...If it's same boundaries

I am not sure..if you face this in the real time....if the values are going to change, so are the boundaries... Incase, boundaries are same but values are changing, then i don't think you have a straight forwarded solution. You have to use your C skills to filter them

Hi Nikhilesh, A very good question. It exactly works the same way a mentioned in the video. Except that, in your case, we have to correlate twice....one for the parent drop-down and one of the child drop-down... And the correlation takes care of the "content changing in the child drop down". You can practice the same using below application... demo.kieker-monitoring.net/jpetstore/actions/Catalog.action In the above application, we dont have the drop-downs but we have different selections like "Fish, Dogs, Cats...." Based on the main menu (Fish, dog ....) sub-menu changes....So, you have to correlate main menu and sub-menu.. You can call me if its not clear ...([phone]

Great Video. I'm stuck with passing correlated value from one Response body to another Request. I tried with web_custom_request() with new parameter as "Authorization = Bearer {CorrelatedName}". My Requirement is from 1 Response i needs to correlate the Token & have to pass this token inside the other Request. 'token_id' is correlated parameter name where i'm getting proper token, needs to pass in next Web Request. It is giving me an error login.c(114): Error -27226: The "Authorization=Bearer {token_id}" argument (number 10) is unrecognized or misplaced [MsgId: MERR-27226] [Time:2018-02-03 18:11:52] Much Appreciate for your early response. Thanks.

Exactly same as arrival City ...which I have demonstrated in the video... In this case arrival and departure cities have same values.....so you need not correlate again.

HI Pragati.... Lr_paramarr_random API is usd to pick a random value from the parameter array list. But you have to b careful that output of this function is not an LR parameter but a string. Let me know, if you want a video for this.....
