In the lore, the Dark Saber was specifically designed to be wielded in only one hand, as opposed to normal lightsabers, which are designed to at least allow two handed wielding. That could be why it’s lighter. I’ve wanted the dark saber ever since it first appeared in Clone Wars.

Hey guys as another lightsaber video I am back and I like the dark saber but the centre dark line should be a little bit broader and have the crackling effects as when Kitra moved it when she was back home, it looked like it's a savi's lightsaber with a white kyber crystal. Hope everything is good at your and you are sanitizing the merch you are buying as in india and in my area near capital (Delhi) there are many cases and deaths also. I agree. The Darksaber is my favorite and while this hilt looks great I’m not a huge fan of the blade. As you said the black part should be wider and with the white part had the crackled black/lightning effects in it that some others have.
