We are back at Walt Disney World and today we will experience most of the new additions to the resort. We’ll head to the Magic Kingdom to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. How does this new critter-filled log ride compare to Splash Mountain? Let’s find out! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is celebrating it’s 5th anniversary with new food exclusive to Batuu East, so you know we have to test it all out. We’ll see the new drone show Disney Dreams That Soar at Disney Springs. And we’ll head in over to Epcot to experience the park now that all the walls are down. We’ll explore celebration gardens, celebrate Encanto and check out CommuniCore Hall. Happy Birthday Galaxy's Edge! Are we near the channels 5 year anniversary too? One little detail I noticed that made me smile on Bayou Adventure is that the frogs playing instruments when you shrink are back to their normal size playing their instruments at the front of the party stage. Everyone else has probably noticed this but I thought it was cute! I was thinking the pole dancing globe thing needs oiling or some WD-40 just before Kitra said it!

So just a little FYI for everyone, the Disney fireworks cast members bring those barges out every afternoon, including 2 fireworks cast members operating the drawbridge between China and refreshment outpost. As long as they're not actively raising/lowering the bridge, they'll hang out and talk to guests as the barges go through. It''s a chance top speak with a cast member you almost never see with an interesting backstage job.

I give Tiana's a 6/10. It's not bad. But the literal ride is just Splash Mountain. It's just been rethemed. That's all. They should have Dr. Facilier singing "ARE YA READY!?" right before the big drop. I'll also miss the naming conventions. The "Mountains" were always a destination. Splash/Thunder/Space Also, you're not beating Zip-a-dee-doo-dah song. Untouchable.

I found the animatronics pretty impressive especially Tiana and Louis, and I have never seen a footage of the drone show before so they pleasantly surprised, it was pretty impressive smooth they were! And it was we nice to see Distory Dan show up I enjoyed watching his videos because his enthusiasm and positive energy!

Less likely but a boy can dream is that they can add the drones to Batuu west w/ the castle fireworks as background punctuation (assuming they could find a way that wouldn’t interfere w/ the castle show) for AT LEAST SW nights &/or season of the force. 🤞🙏

Excellent review of the new changes at EPCOT! EPCOT is my all time favorite Disney park and I’ve been a Figment girl since he appeared in the mid-80’s. Literally kicking and screaming until I got a stuffed Figment and I was a happy 6 year old. I still him to this day! Also, side note, I just had chilaquiles for the first time last weekend and they were delicious! No wonder you guys love them so much!!

It was SO nice to meet you both at EPCOT! We totally get the Florida heat issue - remember the Dr. Chilly ❄️ cooling neck bands. They were awesome on our trip. And only need water or a quick refresh in the fridge to "refreeze" them. I feel like that uninteresting planter in the middle should’ve easily been a water fountain type structure…I feel like we’re lacking water features now as visually pleasing aspects of Epcot. I miss that fountain that was infront of Spaceship Earth. Moana’s thing doesn’t count, you have to enter it to see the water features.

As a local, I luv the new look and vibes of the Epcot garden area. It does change with the current festivals. For F&G they had a huge Figment topiary in the center planter. I luv the trees, sitting area, as well as the music. I like it illuminous too. I wish it were called Symphonious. Lol (jk)

We saw the Drone show from my favorite hotel around the parks Orlando World Center Marriott. I did Tiana being a Passholder and it had delays but once my group was eventually called we only waited a few minutes to ride and sorry i miss Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah and we still sang it at the end of the ride. Its a great log flume ride

We stayed at the Wyndham near Disney Springs a few weeks ago in a Disney Resort view room and were able to see the drone show from our room as well as EPCOT and MK fireworks. NEED SHADE at Communicore Plaza for sure! 🥵 I hope they add some later. Astro Terf also packs heat, it reflects it and doesn't absorb like natural grass and soil would. I think it's ridiculous how much they have been gradually adding into the parks. I'm a Disneyland local, and glad they didn't add more but; won't catch me in ToonTown on a warmer day! The fake grass and fake plants in general tend to be bad for the environment in the ways they are made down to the runoff when they do get wet, and into the air in the heat. It takes a while for them to off-gas I'm pretty sure, even outdoors..... basically will be toxic until completely gone. 😢

I think the drone show is a good idea. Specially if for some reason Disney can no longer host or have fireworks (which might happen someday), then I think the drone shows are a good back up. Plus I think it allows for Disney to be creative and imagine what they can do with the drones over the castle and projections. < 3 Anyway, thank you guys for showing Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I am still sad that my favorite ride Splash Mountain is gone and I hope they can fix the ride a bit with some of the criticism pointed out to make it better. The biggest complaint I see is too much negative/open space along with the narrative being a bit confusing. From the videos I've seen I don't think the ride is bad, but in comparison to it's former attraction it's not that much of an improvement other than the animatronics.

Hopefully they can work out the kinks in the new outfitted Tiana ride, like rework the coding on the animatronics for no down time and add projections or other elements to the dark tunnels down the line. My favorite part of the rides is the animatronics also. Your video did a good job highlighting them to show us more. I really thought the fireworks display at Epcot was great, possibly the best yet because its feels more original and fireworks focused (as someone who can take or leave most Disney songs).
