its a liege waffle, different kind of batter, its more of a dough that actually has to rise (so it has yeast) and they put a Belgian pearl sugar on before putting in the waffle iron, gives it that crunch around the pillowy pastry dough. Delicious, if you are ever in Salt Lake find a Waffle Love, they do Liege waffles better than anyone. They have sweet and savory. They sell their dough too so you can make at home, but you have to have the type of waffle iron that you can adjust the temperature. The Epcot 40th waffle looks super cute, if you liked it come to Utah, lol.

I still have so many great memories of the original Journey ride, when the park first opened my mom took just me, not my brother or our dad at the time, to Epcot and her and I spent the whole day there we rode that like 3’times and ate at the seas restaurant it was such a sentimental memory and I will always love Epcot for that.

When I first visited EPCOT Dreamfinder was a walk around character and carried a puppet of Figment. I was wearing sunglasses when I went to get my picture taken and Figment grabbed them off my face with his mouth and Dreamfinder says, "He doesn't like sunglasses". Which, of course, was for the picture my Dad was taking.

Pointless fact about Figment, the current voice of Figment is Dave Goelz the man behind Muppet legend the Great Gonzo. And the original was voice was Billy Barty the Nelwyn wizard from Willow 😊

I was actually lucky enough to be there on the very first anniversary… My very first time in Walt Disney World was in early October, 1983, and not only were we able to attend the first anniversary, which was pretty nice… It actually had very similar entertainment to what they have for the 40th… A lot of singing couple of speeches and a fireworks tag at the end of the night… Plus we were there for the opening of what is still my all-time favorite Epcot pavilion… Horizons, which opened on October 4, 1983,

@@OrdinaryAdventures Thats fair. Tie dying is a process. Also for the epcot ball cookie jar- they will mail it you from the shop when you buy it. I got two r2d2 bowls from Hollywood studios this past september shipped to me (FL-WI) for less than $20. So In the future if there is something delicate you want they will ship the item you pick out in the store for you.

Aw, yay- Epcot! Back when I was a CM, Epcot was my favorite park to just hang out in when I was by myself. It's just so fun to wander and explore. I miss being able to do that without having to be on vacation.

So I bought the Epcot cookie jar and had Disney ship it to my home for less than $10. If somehow it broke during the shipping process Disney would replaced it for free. I never thought about Disney shipping but it worked out perfect! I’ve had Disney ship the Dark Saber too on a different trip and shipping was like $15. I’ll pay that any day!

Love this! My husband and I will be there, Lord willing, on Friday - October 7th and a BIG birthday for him. One with a zero. I was 18 when I went to EPCOT 40 years ago. I didn’t like it. No Mickey Mouse. No rides. But EPCOT is inspiration for all of us. She gets more and more amazing - year by year. None of us can wish more than that! Love you guys. Thanks for the journey through Epcot for the 40th celebration I thought it was quit enjoyable and I’m so glad Disney took the time to realize they really do need to pay tribute to the man himself Walt because without home and his dream none of this would be possible and if you watch Adams video he went to a special event in the morning and he talked about how much they talked about Walt unlike the 50th where they didn’t mention him at all so it’s nice that this was a better celebration and guys even though you had to put up with a hurricane you made it and I couldn’t be more happy for the both of you congratulations for being there and enjoying the 40th celebration and allowing me to tag along and experience this along with you guys thanks again now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ to you Kitra and Peter and I’ll see you on the next Ordinary Adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️

Shout out to the neck fan! I will never go without them Epcot again. Pro-Tip: They have them at most walmarts for like $10! They are a MUST! plus I use them doing yard work now. Also - my spaceship earth favorite part is the insane photos we've gotten over the years at the end of the ride. My sister and I have gotten the best photos - so silly!

Peter during the new beacons of magic show did you notice the dream mobile flying by during the figment song. It's hard to make out unless you know what it is. Also the big figment in the window you asked if you could buy. He is actually from the very first ride. And the Retro Mickey and Minnie rainbow spacesuit are on 2 statues over the check out area but not sure if it was just for the day or if they are permanent.

Great short review. Nice. I have not been to WDW since 2007 and I'm really jealous of whats going on there and not being able to go. BTW - Mobile Order to merch is convenient if you are buying one or two items. If you are buying a lot more - you have to find some flat surface (and get in the way of other shoppers), put all your stuff down, get the app and scan your items, pay in the app, and then go checkout with a CM. Im sure that the line is not as long from a timing perspective but I think its still a hassle.
